It wouldn’t matter if I were Group 1, it would take me to Group 6 to finally start boarding. I really need to pay more attention!

As I walk down the aisle and approach my seat, I always wonder who I’ll sit next to. Is it going to be someone I saw before we boarded? I eye everyone sitting around, always taking a mental note, wondering if they’ll be my stranger.

Life goes by so quickly. We all have our own families now, each growing more and more with every day, month, and year that passes us by.

Sandeep doesn’t know I’m writing a story about him. Honestly I wasn’t sure if I would. I was having such a hard time understanding him with his accent and vice versa!

There were so many people standing in line to board. I sat down and waited for the line to thin out. Once I got up, I realized I had missed my group to board by 3 groups. I wasn’t in a hurry.

As I checkin, I was told my seat had been changed to an exit seat. “Is that ok?”, she asked. “Of course”, I said, knowing I would have more leg room.

Is it true that bad things happen in 3s? It is, in fact, a superstition that is captivating. It is not limited to certain events but rather a variety of what some would call “bad luck”. When the third is said and done, we have a sense of relief that the streak has ended.

The plan was to rest my body, mind and soul today. Sometimes it’s tough to do all three so you have to choose which one is most important.

I was never obsessed with much of anything, much less Barbie. Ok…. I do love sunsets, rainbows, bubbles, sparklers and apparently strangers!

Caleb, or “John”… remember him? He was sitting a row behind me on the other side, so I was sure to yell over and say hello!

My great nephew asked me, “Why do I take so many pictures?”

I was loosing my mind so I packed a bag and ran away. I tried to run away one time when I was a kid but I was afraid of the neighbors dog. Scared, I went back home!
